REQUESTED MOTION:
To approve the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Agreement MT040 Amendment Two with Florida, Department of Commerce as presented and authorize the County Administrator to execute the Amendment.
SUMMARY:
The County has requested an extension of the grant completion date to February 27, 2027, to more accurately reflect the project schedule. In addition, the County has requested that the Deliverables and Tasks be revised to better align with the actual pace of the project.
BACKGROUND:
DeSoto County has been awarded $3,273,575 in CDBG-MIT funding for mitigation efforts to repair and harden the C.R. 769 Bridge.
