Request to approve the Core Contract between the State of Florida, Department of Health in DeSoto County and the DeSoto County Board of Commissioners for FY 2026-2027.
SUMMARY:
The 2026-2027 Core Contract between the DeSoto BOCC and the State of Florida Department of Health in DeSoto County will be effective October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027.
BACKGROUND:
The 2026-2027 Core Contract is mandated by Florida Statute, Chapter 154. The core contract is an annual agreement. The BOCC projected budget for FY 2026-2027 is $15,000.
