Approve the Amendment recognizing the Contract Reassignment from The Weiler Engineering Corporation to Apex Companies, LLC.
SUMMARY:
Staff is requesting approval of the Contract Reassignment from The Weiler Engineering Corporation to Apex Companies, LLC.
BACKGROUND:
On November 22, 2024, Apex Companies, LLC acquired The Weiler Corporation. The County has maintained a continuous relationship with The Weiler Corporation as its Engineer of Record, first under a contract from October 2020 through October 2025, and again under the current contract awarded in October 2025 following a competitive selection process. The purpose of this Amendment is to acknowledge the acquisition and formally reassign the current Contract to Apex Companies, LLC. All other terms of the Contract will remain unchanged and in full effect.
