REQUESTED MOTION:
To approve the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Project Agreement MT041 Amendment Two with the Florida Department of Commerce, as presented, and authorize the County Administrator to execute the Amendment.
SUMMARY:
The County has requested an extension of the grant completion date to February 13, 2027, to more accurately reflect the project schedule. In addition, the County has requested that the Deliverables and Tasks be revised to better align with the actual pace of the project.
BACKGROUND:
DeSoto County has been awarded $3,757,012.00 in CDBG-MIT funding for mitigation efforts to overhaul the current decaying King and Baker drainage system.
