SUMMARY:
The University of South Florida’s Small Business Development Center (Center) provides no-cost services to small businesses in DeSoto County.
BACKGROUND:
This is an annual agreement between the University of South Florida’s Small Business Development Center (Center) and the County. The Center provides a business consultant; no-cost one-on-one consulting; engages in community outreach; provides entrepreneurial training; includes a link to our website on their site; and delivers a minimum of 340 consulting hours. The County provides website space for the Center; maintains an adequate supply of SBDC materials, and refers clients to the Center’s office.
