REQUESTED MOTION:

To approve the revised Classification & Pay Plan as presented.

 

SUMMARY:

The Classification and Pay Plan has been revised to reflect the changes within the Parks & Recreation, Turner Center, and Public Safety department. The Parks & Recreation Department is requesting the addition of a part-time Parks Technician IV position to accommodate an employee transitioning into partial retirement. The employee will reduce his hours and serve in a part-time capacity to assist with the training and transition of the individual selected to fill his full-time role. The Turner Center is requesting a title change from Event Coordinator to Event Manager to reflect the expanded scope of responsibilities, including increased leadership and event planning duties. Public Safety position titles have been slightly revised to better reflect departmental structure.
