Approve the Agreement Amendment with Brown & Brown, Incorporated, exercising the third one‑year renewal for Employee Benefits Brokerage Services.
SUMMARY:
Staff is requesting approval of an Agreement Amendment with Brown & Brown, Incorporated, extending the Agreement for another year, utilizing the third one‑year renewal term for Employee Benefits Brokerage Services.
BACKGROUND:
On February 20, 2024, the County entered into an Agreement with Brown & Brown, Incorporated to provide Employee Benefits Brokerage Services. The Agreement included an initial term through October 1, 2024, with the option of four (4) additional one‑year renewals upon mutual consent. The first renewal was executed on October 21, 2024, extending services through September 30, 2025, and the second renewal extended the Agreement through September 30, 2026. Both the County and the Agent now wish to exercise the third of the four one‑year renewal options, extending the Agreement through September 30, 2027, with no changes to commission percentages or other terms.
