REQUESTED MOTION:
Approve the Piggyback Agreement with the City of Ormond Beach and Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance, Incorporated, for utilities motor and pump repair services.
SUMMARY:
Staff is requesting approval to utilize the existing Agreement between the City of Ormond Beach and Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance, Inc., for motor and pump repair services needed to support Utilities Department operations.
BACKGROUND:
The Agreement between the City of Ormond Beach and Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance, Inc. (EMMI), became effective on November 4, 2025, and includes a three‑year initial term, active through November 4, 2028, with two one‑year renewal options. The City of Ormond Beach competitively procured and entered into this Agreement for utilities motor and pump repair services. The contract includes inspection, evaluation, repair, testing, and related services for pumps, electric motors, and associated equipment. Piggybacking this Agreement will provide the Utilities Department with timely and cost‑effective access to qualified repair services on an as‑needed basis.
