To declare May 4-8, 2026 Economic Development Week.
SUMMARY:
Economic Development Week recognizes the contribution economic development activities make to the quality of life to the people of DeSoto County.
BACKGROUND:
The DeSoto County Board of County Commissioners issues a proclamation of Economic Development Week as declared by the International Economic Development Council. This year marks the tenth anniversary of Economic Development Week campaigns. The campaign promotes awareness of local programs and their benefit.
