SUMMARY:
Staff is requesting approval of the Piggyback Agreement with Granicus, LLC, for the Legistar Agenda Management System.
BACKGROUND:
DeSoto County is requesting approval to enter into a Cooperative Piggyback Purchase Agreement with Granicus, LLC, for continued use of the Legistar and Open Platform Suite. OMNIA Partners, through the Region 14 Education Service Center, competitively solicited Software and SaaS Solutions under RFP 25-S940, awarding Contract No. 159768 to Granicus.
Granicus has provided Proposal Q-541312 with annual subscription pricing of $17,152.54 for the initial term (October 1, 2026 - September 30, 2027), with four additional one-year renewal options priced at $18,181.69, $19,272.59, $20,428.95, and $21,654.69 respectively. The County has reviewed the Master Agreement and proposed pricing and determined that piggybacking on this competitively awarded contract is cost-effective, compliant, and ensures continued support for the County’s agenda management and legislative workflow needs.
