REQUESTED MOTION:
Approve the Contract Amendment with Zamora’s Lawn and Landscape, LLC, for Lawn Maintenance Services, extending the Contract for one year.
SUMMARY:
Staff is requesting approval of a Contract Amendment extending the Lawn Maintenance Services Contract with Zamora’s Lawn and Landscape for an additional year.
BACKGROUND:
A Contract was awarded to Boehm’s Lawn and Landscape for Lawn Maintenance Services on September 26, 2022, with an initial one (1)‑year term and the option of four (4) additional one‑year renewals. The first renewal extended the Contract through September 26, 2024, and following the sale of Boehm’s to Zamora’s Lawn and Landscape, LLC in February 2024, the County issued a Contract Assignment to Zamora’s. Subsequent renewals extended the Contract through September 26, 2025, and through September 26, 2026. The County and Zamora’s now wish to exercise the fourth and final renewal term, extending the Contract through September 26, 2027, with no changes to the cost, scope, or terms of the existing agreement.
