SUMMARY:
Staff is requesting approval of an Agreement Amendment extending the Agreement with The Southern Group of Florida, Inc., for another year.
BACKGROUND:
On November 17, 2020, the Board approved an Agreement with The Southern Group of Florida, Inc., for Lobbying Services and Networking of Grants with Appropriations. The Agreement provides an initial ONE (1) year term with the option for FIVE (5) additional one-year renewals upon mutual consent. The County has previously utilized four (4) of these renewal options. Staff now wishes to utilize the fifth and final one-year renewal option, with no changes to the terms or cost.
