To approve the umbrella agreement E2273 between Florida Department of Commerce and DeSoto County, Florida
SUMMARY:
Each year the Florida Department of Commerce requires an agreement to administer Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program funds. These funds are provided from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and distributed to States which in turn provide funding to Local Governments or Community agencies to provide Low Income Home Energy Assistance.
BACKGROUND:
DeSoto County has entered into agreements with the Florida Department of Commerce for each new funding year.
