Staff is requesting approval of the Contract with D & D Mechanical Services of FL dba Myakka Heating & Cooling for the provision of HVAC Repair and Maintenance Services.
BACKGROUND:
In August 2026, Staff released Invitation to Bid 26‑20‑00 for HVAC Maintenance and Repair Services to be performed at various locations throughout the County. Five bids were received, with D & D Mechanical Services of FL, Inc. dba Myakka Heating & Cooling being the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder. Staff is recommending Contract award based on the rates included in the contractor’s Bid Proposal Form.
