REQUESTED MOTION:
Motion to approve the letter designating Centerstone of Florida, Inc. to apply for and implement the Criminal Justice, Mental Health, and Substance Abuse Reinvestment Grant.
SUMMARY:
Centerstone will be applying for and implementing the Criminal Justice, Mental Health, and Substance Abuse Reinvestment Grant, to serve DeSoto County. The program is a pre and post booking jail diversion treatment program for those with mental health and substance use disorders. This program will have some re-entry as part of the plan to help inmates navigate back into the community after release.
