REQUESTED MOTION:
A motion to approve the Contract Agreement with _INLINER SOLUTIONS, LLC, _ for Construction Services related to the King and Baker Drainage System Replacement Project, contingent upon receipt of Florida Commerce’s approval of the contract and the request for additional costs.
SUMMARY:
Formal bids from qualified contactors were requested for the King and Baker Drainage System Improvements project. Bids were received and a formal recommendation from the County Engineer has selected _ INLINER SOLUTIONS, LLC, _ to be awarded the contract.
BACKGROUND:
This project is federally funded by Florida Commerce through the Community Development Block Grant Mitigation Program (CDBG-MIT). The project involves mitigations efforts to overhaul the current decaying King and Baker Drainage System and renew it with a system designed with a longer service life. The drainage system has been deemed a critical system, as the current one has already shown evidence of failure
and a newer, safer version is needed to reduce the chances of flooding and mitigate transportation impacts in both regular and extreme storm conditions.
