SUMMARY:
AmSkills representative Tom Mudano will provide an overview of AmSkills, its workforce recruitment and training model, and some of the ways they have partnered with employers and communities to address workforce needs.
BACKGROUND:
Tom Mudano is the Chief Operating and Development Office, and former CEO, of AmSkills. The independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit supports manufacturing and infrastructure sectors by building skilled talent pipelines that connect individuals to high-wage, in-demand careers while helping employers meet their evolving workforce needs. Potential workforce training opportunities with AmSkills were discussed at a previous EDAC meeting. Committee members requested a presentation from the nonprofit.
