REQUESTED MOTION:
To approve the Emergency Preparedness and Assistance Grant (EMPA) between the Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM) and the Desoto County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC)
SUMMARY:
The EMPA grant amount of $105,806 is used to reimburse the county for allowable costs incurred by the county.
BACKGROUND:
This is a cost reimbursement grant for which Desoto County has received funds from since 1994. The purpose of this grant is to enhance the Emergency Management Program.
