REQUESTED MOTION:
Approve the Agreement Amendment with AC Disaster Consulting, LLC, for FEMA Program Consulting Services, extending the Agreement for one year.
SUMMARY:
Staff is requesting approval of an Agreement Amendment extending the FEMA Program Consulting Services Agreement with AC Disaster Consulting, LLC, for an additional year.
BACKGROUND:
A solicitation was issued in 2022 for FEMA Program Consulting Services related to Hurricane Ian. AC Disaster Consulting, LLC was selected through a competitive procurement process and the Agreement was executed on October 19, 2022.
The Agreement supports FEMA Public Assistance grant management under Category Z (Management Costs) and assists the County with project reimbursement for eligible disaster‑related work. The original Agreement established a three‑year term with the option for two additional one‑year renewals. Staff now recommends exercising the second and final renewal option with no changes to the existing terms.
