Motion to approve the resolution appointing a new member to the Economic Development Advisory Committee (EDAC)
SUMMARY:
The EDAC met on March 19, 2026 and voted to recommend the appointment of Justin Fussell as a new member of EDAC.
BACKGROUND:
Jacqueline Wolcott resigned membership in the Economic Development Advisory Committee. This left the seat held for a representative of the financial services sector vacant. Justin Fussell, Crews Bank & Trust Area President DeSoto and Hardee Counties applied to fill the vacancy. The EDAC met, discussed and voted unanimously to approve his appointment.
