SUMMARY:
This item is a discussion about a new DeSoto County Staff project focused on the beautification of major pathways and roadways in and out of the county, as well as potential committee appointments regarding the project.
BACKGROUND:
At the March 19, 2026, EDAC meeting, staff presented the beautification project to EDAC members. Overall, there was broad support for a coordinated beautification program leveraging partnerships, volunteers, proactive enforcement and the possible formation of a committee to oversee the project.
