To declare the week of May 5th-11th, 2024 as “National Drinking Water Week”
SUMMARY:
To encourage and invite both water professionals and our community to celebrate National Drinking Water Week by honoring the vital role water plays in our daily lives.
BACKGROUND:
For more than 40 years the American Water Works Association and its members have celebrated Drinking Water Week in an effort to increase the awareness the vital role water plays in our lives and to encourage consumers to learn more about the importance of water services and water infrastructure.
