Motion to approve the Contract assignment and Contract renewal for Generator Maintenance and Repair Services to GenServe, LLC dba LJ Power.
SUMMARY:
Assignment of Contract and Contract Renewal for Generator Maintenance & Repair Services
BACKGROUND:
The County awarded the annual Contract for Generator Maintenance and Repair Services to LJ Power, Inc. through a competitive bid process. GenServe, LLC dba LJ Power acquired LJ Power, Inc.’s business, but retained LJ Power’s staff in the transition. This Contract has been previously renewed utilizing one (1) of the three (3) allotted one (1) year renewals. Staff is confident in its acceptance of the Contract reassignment and is recommending approval of the second of three (3) renewal terms and extending this Contract to April 25, 2025. The Contractor has agreed to maintain their pricing for this renewal term. The Contractor will remain eligible for the remaining one (1) year term extension upon mutual agreement of both parties.
