REQUESTED MOTION:

Approval of the Tourism Marketing Matching Grants for Arcadia Main Street & Padgett Family Ranch.

 

SUMMARY:

Two entities, Arcadia Main Street and Padgett Family Ranch have applied for the TDC’s Marketing Matching Grants. Both entities have hosted events marketing outside of DeSoto County that attracted visitors from beyond the County. They followed our directions to include the Visit DeSoto logo and appropriate links to our website.

 

BACKGROUND:

The Board approved the Tourist Development Marketing Matching grants to help promote events in DeSoto County that attracts attendees from outside the County, with an emphasis on those that promote overnight stays. The BOCC approved $15,000 for FY 2024.
